The tournament was a collaboration between Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Seminole Casino Coconut Creek with starting flights running in both rooms. They combined to put 1,218 entries into the game and SHR regular David Moreno walked away with the title and $30,187.

The tournament had a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool and it was pushed up to $255,780 by the time registration closed. Each starting flight finished when 10% of the field remained and the 127 players who returned to Hollywood on Sunday were in the money.

Moreno held the chip lead at the final table when the last seven players decided to make a deal to divide up the remaining prize pool. He took the $30,187 top prize and earned his first recorded tournament win.
